The Growing Our Future logo project request tasked the studio with re-working a logo for a non-profit based in Bemidji. The non-profit had a logo that they had used for a couple years and the clients ask was for a revamp of this logo that balanced it out and made it more professional. The project began with sketching, reviewing, re-sketching, and then moved into digitizing concepts, reviewing and refining several more times internally, and then reviewing and refining with the client to finalize the design. The design was made to maintain the concept of the leaf and globe combination of the original logo, with a single leaf finishing the circular shape of the globe. The darker green in this design was made to represent nature and growth, while still keeping a professional tone that met the clients requests.

Graphic design is about more than making things look good; it’s about using visual language to communicate ideas, solve problems, and connect with audiences. As the field has evolved, so has its scope. What was once defined primarily by print now includes branding systems, packaging, advertising, motion, digital media, and user experience.
We are proud students of Alexandria Technical & Community College. The college is located in Alexandria, Minnesota. We thrive in the Communication Design program, pushing our creativity to new heights every day. Collaborating with clients is an invaluable experience, and we are truly honored for the opportunity to bring ideas to life.
