Branding

This logo design was made for Luther Crest Bible Camp to celebrate their 80th Anniversary. The client ask was for a logo that could represent the “We are the church” theme that the anniversary would follow. The logo could then be used on shirts and their logo to celebrate this event. The timeline for this event had to be quick which was a consideration in design. Another consideration was the church’s existing branding and how the design could be unified with it. Initial phases involved creating rough sketches to explore different visual directions, incorporating various symbols and typography. After selecting promising designs, digital work began to improve and refine these concepts. Then the designs received feedback from directors and the client, ensuring the logo resonated with their vision and brand identity. Based on their input, necessary adjustments were made, iterating on the design until it met all expectations. The final logo was polished, ensuring versatility across the different applications they planned on using it for.

About The Program

Graphic design is about more than making things look good; it’s about using visual language to communicate ideas, solve problems, and connect with audiences. As the field has evolved, so has its scope. What was once defined primarily by print now includes branding systems, packaging, advertising, motion, digital media, and user experience.

We are proud students of Alexandria Technical & Community College. The college is located in Alexandria, Minnesota. We thrive in the Communication Design program, pushing our creativity to new heights every day. Collaborating with clients is an invaluable experience, and we are truly honored for the opportunity to bring ideas to life.
